Home Fees Applicants
Current Home Fees trainees are full-time employees of the National Health Service (NHS) and have annual leave and other benefits in line with usual NHS entitlements. On entry to the programme all trainees commence on the first spine point of Band 6 of the Agenda for Change pay scales (including High Cost Area Supplement) – please note that this is independent of previous salary/experience and the salary is subject to a national ruling due to it being a training contract.
Excess travel expenses are currently paid for travel to placement, and University fees are currently paid directly by NHS England.
The Programme interviews approximately 3 candidates per place on offer and expects to interview 120 candidates for 2025 entry. 41 places were available for 2024 entry.
Overseas Fees Applicants (Self-Funded)
Those who do not qualify for Home fees status can apply for a self-funded place as an overseas candidate via the King’s College London admissions portal.
